Our client is looking for the IT Operation & Development Lead, who will reporting to the Head of IT with responsibility for application operation, development and related team leadership. Together cooperating within internal business leads for application development and operation support care to secure smooth run of all internal applications covering business processes. Manage team of internal and external IT specialists and developers on SLA basis. This position will include planning, resource management, measuring and ensuring that all services operation will align with business objectives and meet user requirements. Within this leadership role, you will provide leadership and guidance to the support team as well drive the roadmap development of current applications.

Role and responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end application lifecycle, from an operation perspective
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as business owners, product managers, business analysts, and architects, to understand business needs and anticipate it in operation
- Ensure timely and high-quality application support, managing priorities, resources, and dependencies effectively
- Maintain the stability of the application production environments, leading incident response and finding pragmatic resolutions to problems within defined SLAs
- Manage development updates within existing application environment
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements for successful application hand-over to operation support
- Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure services are delivered on time and within budget
- Plan internal and external resources effectively across all operation maintenance activities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive application development and operation that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives
- Be responsible for infrastructure environment operation (delivered as service)

Qualification criteria:
- Master’s degree in related areas or adequate experience from previous positions
- Proven Application Operation experience
- Experience in leadership, team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery
- Experiencing deploying custom build and packaging software with colorful functionalities
- Experience from energy or utility trading sector is plus
